Whangara Farms
1. We went with a warm coat and boots It was a muddy day It was raining, cloudy and much more droopy weather. We came not knowing what could happen. After a long road trip we finally made it! Later after that we went to climb a biggish hill when we made it up the steep top of the hill we saw a contraption It was made for the Weather There was this cord running into the ground then sends Data to the man who looked after the farm Andrew!
It told him which way the wind is coming from and how much same with rain in measure the rain and they would check it each month. There was also some cages on the hill and that's what they use to know about the grass because the nail the cage in the ground but before that they make sure they write down the height of the grass write now so then they know how much it grow.

Then they waited 2 weeks till moving the cage.Slowly when we went down the hill we went into the vans There was a girl van and boy one.I jumped into the girl van ready to learn more! When we finely got to a destination it was Field's lots of fiels with about 26 different types of plants and grass. My group got some tools to get a sample when a person in my group named Charlie took the sample There was a worm in it so we put the worm back in the ground but the good thing is , is that the place we were getting a sample from if a worm was there then it means that It was healthy but in the pit of the Field we chooses was Phal+RC.For the 2 to last time we got into the van once more!
We hoped out kind of tired but still ready for learning we came across a nursery of trees the black looking tree was a Willow and that was at the back and the Poplar tree was at the front!
There was a big storm yesterday so we wanted to see what happened to there Farm so here's a Image of the damage.
I'm really happy that we did this trip its helped us a lot with learning about farms to give us knowledge for are company Seeds R us!
