Daffodil day at Makaraka school!

All around NZ on the 31th of August we pay 2 Dollars to get a Fabric Daffodil and you can pin it to your top. All the donations go to Families with some who as Cancer and needs help or Families who had someone in their family who passed away who had Cancer.  Doctor have tried to find a cure for lots of different Cancers but so far do not succeed. From my experience its really hard to lose someone.

If you know about Harold the Giraffe hopefully you will be intrigued. Harold the Giraffe is a school thing he goes all around Nz. Its all about a puppet named Harold What they are trying to do is make learning a little big easier and more Fun! And that Giraffe on the front of the truck is Harold and also the its the logo of the company.

This is the Amazing book we are reading Trash by Andy Mulligan.We have been looking at this amazing book called trash Our teacher Mrs Hall have made some tricky questions. Trash the book is about Behala in the philippines its kinda based on a true story. Little kids have to go dump site diving and normally every 2 parts are someone new we get to see their perspective. We think that this is mean doing this to the kids of Behala. The book is telling what happens in Behala, All the madness there.

What did I do for my Science Fair project?

Science Fair 16/08/18

It was Science fair day I had my poster in my car ready to go me and my friend Isla M. Are project was about the Parker Solar probe by NASA, It took a while to do it was fun but at the last mim they launched the Parker Solar probe so I had to quickly finish it will a little more write a little more  and I needed to get a couple more pic's from the launch. I arrived at school and I grabbed my poster I had to run inside because it was raining but luckily I did not get wet neether the poster. I placed my poster in the Hall and wait.
I Hope I get good results!

Day in Rongomatane

At lest 18-20 people left to go to a competition the rest of us got to help out with room rongomatane because Mrs Allen/Rongomatane teacher was sick and nobody could fill in for her. There was 18 people left. We did some really cool work with the little cute Rongomatane kids.I'm glad we got to hang out with the cute little kids!

What have I been getting in my Term 3 Maths Grid results!

Each day we do a maths grid where we have 6:00 to do times tables. Someone will pick the number on the side which that what we are timing with. And after the 6 mins are up someone marks it, We get to call out the answers. I think maths grid is fun to do for sure!
